LORRY'S SCRUMPTIOUS GRANOLA 
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. oil
7 c. old fashioned Quaker Oats
1/2 c. shredded sweetened coconut
1/2 c. shredded almonds
Some salt (1/2 tsp. approximately)

Sometimes I add pecans and sunflower seeds.

In a saucepan, heat oil and honey until boiling. In large bowl, put 7 cups of oatmeal. Sprinkle sparingly with salt. Pour hot oil and honey mixture over the oatmeal mixture. Stir to combine thoroughly. Add coconut and almonds. Stir to mix. Spread in 2 shallow baking pans, so that you have a thin layer of granola.

Bake in 250 degree oven for about 1/2 hour until golden brown. Be absolutely sure to stir every 10 minutes to prevent burning. Watch carefully.
