NO MILK NO EGG BISCUITS 
2 cups self-rising flour
6 tbsp. solid shortening (I use Crisco)
3/4 cup cold water
flour, for kneading

Heat oven to 450°F.

Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Add more flour to knead dough. Roll out biscuits by hand one at a time and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes. Turn on broiler to brown tops of biscuits if necessary.

Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
