APPLE-CRANBERRY CASSEROLE | |
2 c. fresh cranberries 3 c. sliced, peeled, cored apples 1 c. granulated sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. packed brown sugar 1 c. quick rolled oats 1/2 c. flour 1/3 c. softened butter Combine cranberries, apples, sugar, lemon and salt and turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine brown sugar, oats, flour. Cut in butter. Spoon over cranberry mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Poke holes in top in 1/2 hour. Serve warm. Top with vanilla ice cream, if desired. |
