APPLESAUCE CAKE 
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. unsweetened applesauce
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger

Cream sugars and butter. Add eggs. Sift dry ingredients; add alternately with applesauce, ending with flour mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. Bake in 13x9 inch cake pan for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Test for doneness.
