GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
6 or 8 slices of bacon
6 medium potatoes
1 onion chipped fine
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dried mustard
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 egg, slightly beaten

Cook bacon crisp, save fat. Cook potatoes in jackets, peel and slice, bovine crumbled bacon, potatoes and onion. Add remaining ingredients to bacon fat and stir over low heat until mixture thickens. Pour over potato mixture and stir until the liquid is absorbed. For 4 to 6
