BLACKBERRY CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. cocoa
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. blackberries, with juice

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Beat until fluffy. Add spices, salt, cocoa, soda, and vanilla. Add flour alternately with blackberries. Pour into 3 greased 9 inch pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Frost with caramel icing.
