CRUMB TOPPED BUTTER CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar

In large bowl cream butter with cream cheese until light. Add remaining ingredients except topping. Pour batter into 9 x 13 inch pan.

Prepare Crumb Topping: Mix butter, flour and brown sugar until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of cake batter. Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees.

BUTTER FROSTING
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 lb. soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3-4+ tbsp. milk

Blend 1/3 of sugar with butter. Add everything else. Stir well. Add milk to desired consistency.
