1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt or less
2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Mix together first 5 ingredients. Add the next 3 ingredients to the flour mixture and beat with a wire whisk. Spread the batter in greased casserole. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cocoa.

Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over the top. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
