MOCK CHICKEN "1936" | |
4 tbsp. fat (Crisco) 4 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 1/4 c. milk 1 can tuna fish 13 oz. pkg. potato chips 1/2 c. mushrooms Heat fat, stir in flour and blend; add salt. Slowly add milk, stirring until smooth, simmer until sauce begins to thicken. Add flaked tuna and sliced mushrooms. Crush 3/4 of the potato chips and add to mixture; season to taste. Sprinkle remaining chips on top; bake in casserole for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
