BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES 
4 qts. cucumbers
3-6 onions
1 sweet pepper
1 green pepper
3 cloves garlic
1/3 c. salt
3 c. apple cider vinegar
2 c. raw honey
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric

Slice cucumbers thin. Add onions, garlic, and peppers cut into narrow strips. Add salt; mix thoroughly. Cover with cracked ice. Let stand 3 hours; drain. Rinse.

Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Add cucumber mixture; return to boil. Seal in hot sterile jars. Makes 6 pints.
