OATMEAL CHIPPERS 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
1 c. semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
1 1/4 c. oats
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, brown sugar and sugar in bowl. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Add mixture of flour, soda, and salt alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chips, oats and nuts.

Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Yield: 4 dozen.
