CORN FRITTERS 
1 can (16 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Mix all ingredients in medium bowl. Let stand 1 hour. Heat 2-3 inches of oil in deep fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees. Drop batter by tablespoons into hot oil, until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Cook a few at a time. Serve warm.
