CORN FRITTERS 
1 1/3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 (17 oz.) can cream style corn
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. Mazola corn oil

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix corn and egg; add to dry ingredients, stirring lightly.

Heat Mazola corn oil in large skillet over medium heat. Drop batter by tablespoons into hot corn oil 1 layer at a time. Fry about 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Makes 16 fritters.
