FRIED CORN FRITTERS 
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 lg. can corn niblet
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. corn oil

Combine all ingredients except corn oil. Beat well. Stir in oil, then drop spoonfuls of batter into oiled, hot frying pan. Fry as pancakes, browning lightly on both sides.

NOTE: Creamed corn may be used but omit the milk.
