OLD FASHIONED BEANS 
2 c. dried pinto beans
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. sweet pepper flakes
1 tbsp. celery flakes
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
3/4 c. brown sugar
12 oz. ketchup
1 tsp. Morton's Nature's Seasons
Pinch of garlic powder, black pepper, savor salt, red pepper

Soak beans overnight, drain, add other ingredients, cover with water, bring to boil, then simmer until done. Best when left to marinate for a day before eating.

A little turkey bacon or turkey ham can be added to beans while cooking if desired. Brown the meat before cooking with the beans.
