MARY'S STEW 
1/2 onion
3 c. potatoes
2 lb. beef stew meat
2 c. V-8 juice
1 c. water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 c. carrots
1 c. celery
2 tbsp. minute tapioca
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt

Put all ingredients in a covered roaster and bake for 5 hours at 275 degrees.
