MEATLESS PROTEIN LOAF | |
1 c. cooked rice 1/2 c. wheat germ 1 c. chopped pecans 1 c. onion, chopped 1/2 c. mushrooms, diced 3/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. salt (opt.) 4 eggs, well beaten (Egg Beater may also be used for eggs) Mix all ingredients well. Pour into a well oiled loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Yield: 8 to 10 servings. Loaf may be re-arranged on platter and decorated with lettuce, diced tomatoes and olives. |
