BANANA BREAD 
3 ripe bananas (4 if sm.)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) or
1/2 c. slivered almonds (optional) or
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except the bananas. In small bowl mash ripe bananas and add to other ingredients. Beat on medium speed until smooth approximately 2 minutes. Bake in greased and floured 8 x 8 inch pan 325 degrees for 1 hour or until top is browned.
