BATTER DIP 
1 egg, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. melted butter

Beat egg yolk. Add salt and milk. Mix well. Add flour gradually. Beat until smooth. Blend in butter. Beat egg white until soft peaks form. Fold into batter completely. Use for deep fried fish or vegetables.
