BATTER DIP 
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. meal
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1 to 2 eggs, beaten well
1 c. ice water

Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs and water. Stir until blended, but do not beat. Dip vegetables or whatever a few at a time. Fry in 375 degree oil until golden brown.
