DIPPING BATTER 
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. corn oil
1 c. milk

Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Mix egg, oil and milk. Add to dry ingredients. Beat with rotary beater until smooth. Dry food, dust with flour then dip. Good for onion rings, chicken and fish.
