ALMOND RICE PILAF 
2 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. unsalted butter
2 c. pkg. precooked rice
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 c. dark seedless raisins

Combine water and butter in large saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in rice, onion, cinnamon, garlic and cloves; remove from heat, cover, and let stand 5 minutes. Stir in raisins and almonds before serving.
