CARAMEL CORN 
2 sticks butter
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 qts. popped corn

Bring butter, sugar, syrup and salt to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Take from burner and add soda and vanilla. Stir well and pour over popcorn which is in a large pan or bottom of roaster. Mix well and bake in 250 degree oven one hour. Stir and mix every 15 minutes. When dry lay on wax paper and separate. Store in covered container.
