BLACK WALNUT POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. rum flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 c. chopped black walnuts

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs and flavorings. Mix flour and baking powder. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk. Mix well. Add walnuts and bake in a tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
