POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. Karo (blue or green label)
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. butter
2 qts. unsalted popcorn

Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan and cook over medium heat (stirring constantly) until it comes to a boil and continue cooking until it reaches the hard ball stage.

Remove from heat and quickly add butter and blend. Slowly pour over popcorn (in large bowl or pan) and stir with wooden spoon. Form into balls using as little pressure as possible. (Butter hands when forming the popcorn balls.)

Makes about 15 (2 1/2 inch) popcorn balls.
