LENTEN PEACH CAKE 
Batter:

2 1/2 c. Bisquick
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. Wesson oil
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Topping:

1 large can peaches, drained, syrup reserved
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon sugar
chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients for batter (plus syrup from peaches) and blend well. Pour batter into a greased 9 x 9-inch pan.

Arrange peaches evenly over batter. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients for topping. Spread evenly over top.

Bake 375°F oven for 40 to 45 minutes.

Serve in squares.

10 to 12 servings.
