GRANDMA DAVIS' CHICKEN PIE | |
2-3 lb. chicken (white meat), boiled & boned (with salt & pepper added to pot to taste) 2 c. Bisquick 2/3 c. milk Flour Mix the Bisquick and the milk. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. If dough is too sticky, add more baking mix (up to 1/4 cup). Thicken broth with flour; pour up halfway on chicken in a casserole dish, save the rest. Place dough on top of casserole approximately 1 1/2 inch thick. Leave hole in center for steam to escape. Bake approximately 3/4 hour at 350-375 degrees. Check periodically. If hole disappears make a new one. Serve with extra gravy. |
