CHOCOLATE CHERRYETTES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. drained, chopped maraschino cherries

Cream butter and sugar; add extracts and beat well. Blend in flour and salt. Add nuts and cherries; shape into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Dip tops in chocolate dip, which follows.

CHOCOLATE DIP:

1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 tsp. butter
1/4 c. milk
Powdered sugar

Melt chocolate chips, butter and milk in double boiler. Cool slightly. Add powdered sugar and blend until smooth.
