SUGAR CREAM PIE 
1 stick butter
2 c. whipping cream
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. cornstarch plus 2 to 3 tsp. extra

Melt butter. Add whipping cream and sugar. Bring to slow boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Mix milk and cornstarch. Stir until smooth and mix all together. Cook until thick. After cooling a little, pour into baked pie crust and sprinkle with nutmeg. You can do this in the microwave. Its a breeze and easy clean up.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
