3 c. sifted flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk

Mix together, then add 2 eggs, 1/3 cups milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Grease and flour medium size cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
