HOMEMADE BRUNSWICK STEW | |
1 chicken, cut up 2 qts. water 2 slices of fat bacon, cut in sm. pieces Let boil gently 4 hours. Add: 1/2 pt. rip tomatoes, peeled & cut fine 1/2 pt. butter beans 3 ears corn, cut down middle of grain, then scrap off or grate 1 tsp. butter 1 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. sugar 2 spoons butter Salt to taste Boil 1 hour, take out all bones and serve. |
