SOUR CREAM DRESSING FOR FRUIT
SALAD
 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. pear or pineapple, syrup drained from fruit
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 c. sour cream

In a saucepan combine eggs, fruit juice and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and cool. Fold in sour cream and chill thoroughly before serving. Delicious on either a pear or pineapple cheese salad or any fruit salad.
