1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten well
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cream of tartar
4 + c. flour

Cream together Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients in order. Mix in flour to make stiff. Best if chilled. Roll thin, cut out. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees until light brown around edges. Frost and enjoy.
