MICHAEL'S GOULASH | |
4 qt. water 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. spaghetti or elbow macaroni 2 tbsp. shortening 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 (11 oz.) can chili beef soup 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed vegetarian vegetable soup 1 1/4 c. water Bring 4 quarts water to boil; add salt. While stirring gradually add noodles. Boil briskly 10 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Meanwhile, in large pot, melt shortening; add broken up beef, stirring occasionally. When meat is slightly browned, mix in soups and water. Heat. Drain noodles; add to soup mixture. Mix well. Serves 10. |
