ORANGE BEETS 
16 oz. can sliced beets, drained
1 1/2 tbsp. soft butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. orange juice
Pinch of pepper
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. sugar

Put beets into a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mix remaining ingredients together in a small bowl. Cook in microwave 2 to 2 1/2 minutes until thickened, stirring once. Add sauce to beets, mixing well. Cover and cook in microwave 1 1/2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
