CHILI CON CARNE (MICROWAVE) 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1-2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans

Crumble ground beef into 2-quart casserole dish. Add onion and garlic. Cook uncovered on high 4 minutes. Drain meat and break up with fork. Add remaining ingredients; cook covered on 70% power for 15-18 minutes or until hot. Stir once during cooking time. Adjust seasoning. Let stand 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
