APPETIZER ONION SOUP | |
3 c. thinly sliced onions 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth 1/8 tsp. pepper 2 slices toast 1/4 c. butter 2 c. water 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese 1 tbsp. Parmesan cheese In a large saucepan, cook sliced onions in butter about 20 minutes. Stir in beef broth, water and Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; add Parmesan cheese. Put in ovenproof bowls. Add piece of toasted bread and top with Mozzarella cheese. Put into broiler and brown cheese and serve. |
