APPETIZING ONION SOUP 
1 tbsp. butter
2 c. sliced onion
1 qt. water
4 packs beef broth or bouillon
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 bay leaf (remove after cooked)
Dash pepper, coarse preferred

Saute onions in butter 2-3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. Pour in oven proof mugs or bowls. Top with crunchy croutons and Mozzarella cheese and broil briefly.
