1/2 c. black walnuts
1/2 box confectioners' sugar
Sm. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 dozen eggs
1/2 lb. (crushed) vanilla wafers
1 tbsp. vanilla

Melt chocolate, cream butter, add sugar. Add egg yolks, well beaten. Add nuts and vanilla. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Line bottom of pan with 1/2 of vanilla wafers; add chocolate mixture and sprinkle remainder of wafers on top.
