MIRLITON PICKLES 
Sm. tender mirlitons, cut in halves
Sm. long hot peppers, cut in halves
Garlic
Salt
Hot vinegar

Remove the seeds from the hot peppers. Remove only the stems from mirliton.

Prepare 6 pint jars. Place in each, a piece of garlic (about 1/4 section), 1 slice of mirliton, 1 slice of hot pepper and alternate with mirliton and hot peppers until the jar is filled. Add 1 teaspoon salt and enough hot vinegar to cover the vegetables.
