Sm. tender mirlitons, cut in halves Sm. long hot peppers, cut in halves Garlic Salt Hot vinegar Remove the seeds from the hot peppers. Remove only the stems from mirliton. Prepare 6 pint jars. Place in each, a piece of garlic (about 1/4 section), 1 slice of mirliton, 1 slice of hot pepper and alternate with mirliton and hot peppers until the jar is filled. Add 1 teaspoon salt and enough hot vinegar to cover the vegetables. |
