4 mirliton 1 onion 1/2 bell pepper 1 stalk celery 1 lb. ground beef Seasoned bread crumbs Salt and pepper to taste Boil mirliton until soft; peel skin and mash with a potato masher. Brown ground beef with vegetables; drain oil. Combine meat and mirliton in a baking dish. Add salt and pepper. Add seasoned bread crumbs until thick. Sprinkle light layer of crumbs over mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until browned. |
