CHOCOLATE OATMEAL PEANUT BARS 
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. light corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. creamy style peanut butter
1/3 c. chopped dry roasted peanuts
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 pkg. (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate baking chips

With electric mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in corn syrup, oats and vanilla and mix well. Pat evenly in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees until golden around edges (about 20 minutes). Cool on wire rack, cover and chill until cold and cut into bars.
