CHOCOLATE-CARAMEL BARS 
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. butter
6 oz. chocolate chips

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk; set aside to cool. Mix together cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. It will be crumbly. Put about 1/2 mixture in 9"x13" pan. Flatten and bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Take from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and caramel mixture and rest of cake mix on top. Bake 18 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 30 minutes.
