PAT'S ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast
2 tsp. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter, melted

Can be baked now or later; freeze well. Sift dry ingredients. Blend in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water; let stand for 5 minutes. Add to buttermilk. Then add to flour mixture; mix well. Turn out onto a floured board. Roll or pat to desired thickness.

Cut biscuits, dip in melted butter and place on cookie sheets. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.
