ITALIAN STUFFED MUSHROOMS | |
16 lg. fresh mushrooms 1 clove garlic, minced 3 tbsp. olive oil 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese 6 oz. sweet Italian seasonings 1/4 c. water Wash mushrooms, remove stems and chop them finely. Remove casing from sausage and put in skillet with chopped stems, garlic and 1 tablespoon oil. Cook, breaking up meat with fork, until lightly browned. Add 1 tablespoon oil, parsley, Italian seasoning, and cheese. Fill mushroom cavities with the mixture, rounding up the tops. Put in a shallow pan. Combine water and oil and pour into bottom of pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serves 4-8. |
