TEXAS SWEET ROLL 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. milk, scalded
1/4 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1-2 tbsp. milk
2 1/2-3 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
3/4 c. sugar

Pour yeast into warm water. Let dissolve in bowl. Scald milk. Add 1/4 cup Crisco. Let cool then add to yeast. Add sugar, salt, eggs and flour. Mix. Let rise. Place a sheet of foil dull side up on pizza pan. Pinch off small pieces of dough enough to form a 6 inch strip.

Dip in 3/4 cup butter, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, 1/2 cup nuts (chopped) and 3/4 cup sugar. Wind into small flat coil. Let rise about 45-60 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool. Combine 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1-2 tablespoons milk. Drizzle over top.
