BBQ SANDWICH FILLING | |
1 lb. lean pork 1 lb. lean beef 1 stalk celery (not just 1 rib) 3 med. onions 2 green peppers 1 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. chili powder 1 c. ketchup 1/2 c. vinegar Cook meat until tender; shred. Dice celery, onions and peppers. Cook on slow heat meat, broth, celery, onions, peppers and seasonings for 3 to 4 hours, until vegetables fall apart. Add salt, if desired; water, if needed. |
