COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. coconut
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Combine coconut, sugar and flour, salt in bowl. Stir in unbeaten egg whites and almond extract and mix well. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Place a 1/2 cherry on each.
