BLACK-EYED PEAS, MEXICAN STYLE | |
1/2 med. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 3 slices bacon, chopped 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. cumin powder 1/2 tsp. salt 4 c. cooked black-eyed peas Combine onion, garlic and bacon; cook until bacon is brown, add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Serves 4 |
