3 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
3 c. whole milk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. real butter
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 9" pie shell, prebaked (cooled)
Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings

In pot over medium heat, melt chocolate with 2 cups milk and butter. Bring to a boil.

Sift sugar, flour, salt and cornstarch. Add remaining milk (1 cup) and egg yolks. Then add to chocolate mixture. Bring back to boil. Pour into pie shell. Chill. Top with whipped cream and shavings.
